Gathered Leaves is the result of Soth's first major UK Show. The name of the exhibition comes from a poem called Song of Myself by Walt Whitman. Thus, this name is a reference to Soth's works being together in this title but also, alludes to how this work is deeply personal and therefore, a story of Soth himself. Gathered Leaves contains intimate portraits, desolate landscapes and the open wilderness. They are haunting, striking and full of the a profound sense of humanity. This way, the viewer explores human emotions and desires through Soth's unique work. Besides, the collection of images.
